Harwood Marine’s associated companies have over forty years experience in servicing the marine industry in the South Pacific.

Currently, Norfolk Island Shipping operates a shipping service, using the MV Norfolk Guardian between Yamba, Australia, Norfolk Island, & New Zealand.

A further vessel, MV Sitka is available for charter around Australia & in the South Pacific.

The company also charters other vessels to meet client needs for transportation in the South Pacific region.

STEVEDORING

Lord Howe Island Shipping Services Pty Ltd (LHISS) as its name suggests was created to service the needs of shipping to Lord Howe Island NSW from the Port of Yamba in 1992. Since then the company has grown to incorporate local and international trade throughout the South Pacific and on inducement to S.E. Asia. Stevedoring operations are carried out from the Port of Yamba NSW approximately every five weeks to service the needs of the MV Norfolk Guardian to Norfolk Island and New Zealand. All operations are supervised by Master Mariner Capt. Harry Peacock and his team.
